Are you working on anything special right now?
I am making a special birthday surprise for my friend. To me, technology is..... FUN! Do you have anything additional to add? You have to work hard in computer class and Mrs. McCullers is the best computer teacher ever! Hello everyone! This is the second week of our advice column. Thank you so much for commenting your questions for us!! We are so grateful!!! We read all the comments, and we picked two people to answer. They are CoolQueen212, and Kid. Our advice to Kid is: God made you for a special purpose, and if that purpose isn't an athletic ability, who cares? And to CoolQueen212, God made you in a special, unique way. It doesn't matter how you look, because deep down, your character matters, not your looks. Also, no one looks like you! Imagine if we were all the same! Not good! Let yourself SHINE THROUGH!!!
Keara is an 8th grade student at FBCS. She is soft spoken and her classmates will agree that she is beautiful inside and out. When Keara speaks everyone stops and listens because God has blessed her with wisdom. The following is what Keara has to say about the upcoming 8th grade graduation. Soon our eighth grade class of 2014-15 will be graduating. I think that we are all feeling excited but scared because we are going into high school and some of us are not going to the same school. It sort of feels like the last High School Musical movie. I also think that we are feeling nervous. It’s going to be so different because we are used to seeing each other five days out of the week and sometimes on weekends. But when we get into high school we are going to have more friends. We are also going to be busier so we might not get to hang out with some of our friends from First Baptist, unless some of us go to the same school. So I think that we should cherish these last moments with each other because as soon as we know it we are going to be graduating, and we never know when we will get those moments back.
Are you working on anything special right now?
"I am working on a book about Fast and Furious. When I finish I want to publish it on www.issuu.com." To me, technology is... "FUN!"
I would advise people to read the Bible. I enjoy finding verses that can be useful to others. The Bible has many stories in it and can speak to the person reading it. When you have a bad day you can open up a Bible. When you get mad at a friend and don't know what to do you can open up a Bible. The Bible teaches everyone about God, and can bring others to Him. You can read about miracles and learn about Jesus. The Word of God can change someone's life or revive someone's faith. The stories in the Bible are highly interesting, and some even horrifying. If you don't have a Bible then you don't have a way to know God.
Why is technology important to you?
"Technology helps you learn and discover new things." Are you working on anything special right now? "I am writing a story about the movie Cinderella for the FBCStechies website." To me, technology..... "Opens up a new experience every day." Do you have anything additional to add? "You need to be patient when you work with computers and you need to study to do good in school." These three boots belong to fourth graders Haley, Piper, and Sabine. Haley injured her growth plate. She had to get an X-ray on Friday. The doctor told her that part of her growth plate is too big. She has to wear the boot for two weeks, then she will go back to the doctor and hopefully get rid of the boot. Piper has a fracture in her foot. She did it when she tripped over a tree root. She has to wear the boot for three weeks. Sabine broke her foot on a trampoline. It happened the first day of Spring Break! She has to wear the boot for six weeks. It will be twelve weeks before she can run and jump. Get well soon girls!
Hey everyone! Maddie and I are writing an advice column. So, in the comments section (You don't have to use your real name), write your problem, and we'll give you advice. Also, we write stories, so in the comments section, give suggestions for stories you'd like to see on this blog.
Our first question is from Troubled Girl who says: I need advice. Sometimes I worry too much about what others think of me. Help! Our advice is: It does NOT matter what other people think. It matters what is on the inside. Who keeps the wrapping paper? Remember, you a re beautiful and God loves you! |
