FBCS 4th through 8th grade students spent the last few weeks creating PowerPoint presentations on the birth of Jesus. Mr. Shumway is looking through their work and will be choosing his favorites to show during chapel. I must add that quite a few students created outstanding presentations. One presentation will be chosen for Friday's chapel.
We had a busy week. Brodie Roe, Tori Murray, and Emma Collaros were our first and second grade Top Typers as their classes worked on finger positions and home row keys. Great job! Tagxedo and Google search kept third and fourth graders busy while fifth graders played NitroType to improve their typing speed. Tagxedo and NitroType links can be found on the "Links" page. Middle schoolers are preparing Easter PowerPoint presentations. You will want to check their websites in a couple of weeks to see what they have put together. Our TopTechies Dalton Cauley, Decker Tallbacka, Devon Edwards, Melanie Izaguirre, Natasha Luce, Tommy Hancock, and Victor Trense attended a program on PC Repair at Blake Library for TeenTech Week. I hope you have an old computer at your house for these students to work on!
